A great book in both the traditional and modern sense. Most anthropologists don't do real fieldwork anymore (traditional), just secondary analysis (modern). Kenworthy's experience in the field is what makes her commentary on other research valid. Those who will benefit most from this book include policymakers, program managers, and international development experts operating in the health care field. Though, because of the engaging writing, it would work just as well for undergraduates and those who missed the last heavy train of AIDS research.
