These are fun little puzzles to do. They make you think about what words fit certain descriptions (like finding the names of five colors) and you still get the fun of doing a word search. Great concept and a lot of fun. Some are easy, some are a challenge. The book is a nice size that it will fit in a purse or tote bag, it can be done while waiting on an appointment or if you just have a few extra minutes of time on your lunch break, etc.
I love doing word puzzles, and this kind is different from the games I usually play, but I have learned lots of things since I started playing these games.
I enjoy these more than regular word searches - you have to come up with the words in categories and then find them or find words that fit in the categories. My grandmother loves these too! Crossword puzzles are too hard for her and word searches are too easy. This fills the bill for her and it really has helped her work out her brain. She has made some up for me to do! I will continue to try to find new sources of these 'word roundups'.
These little books are fun. My husband and I take them along with us to restaurants when we know the wait will be a while.
