Lovely book! I received this as a gift, i bought my Instant Pot after receiving it and the first meals I ever made in it have been from this book. It's a very well written book, author spends a a bit of time at the beginning orienting you to the instant pot and how it works and explaining what types of dishes work best in the Instant Pot. I didn't purchase my Instant Pot until after I had read this book and I knew just from reading the book how to do everything, it was not intimidating at all. All the the recipes in this book look and sound delicious--and now having made about 6 of them already, I can say that her instructions are very easy to follow, they use ingredients easily found in the grocery store and everything I've made has turned out beautifully. I also liked that her choice of dishes wasn't too boring or too daring, I thought it was just right, interesting delicious recipes simply described. I highly recommend this cookbook. I think she's a wonderful teacher! Cool book! Well done!

Wow! It is Perfect! The day after I got this book I was having dinner for 15. I thought I had two chickens in my freezer. What I actually had was a lot of frozen chicken thighs. Since it was 2 oclock the day of, I had little choice but to make a quick batch of barbque chicken. Instant Hit! Since then I've made oatmeal, mashed potato, chicken in coconut curry and korean brisket and everything -EVERYTHING--has been fabulous and easy. Plus, if the cooking time says 2 hours, I only have to pay attention for 15 minutes topped. I'm free then to do all kinds of other things and know a delicious protein is in the pot. And the mashed potatoes? Those were seriously fast and delicious. I have forgotten about the butternut squash soup. You must make this recipe in the instant pot -- the texture, the flavor, everything about it, it's straightforward, fast and yummy. This book elevates instant pot cooking to make it sophisticated but still accessible. I can recommend highly enough! Amazing! I love it!

I absolutely love this cookbook. First, the cookbook itself is gorgeous, well put together, and well photographed. I can't stand a cookbook that's just text, and this is the farthest thing from that. Second, the recipes are such a good well-rounded dive into Mediterranean food. I LOVE Mediterranean food but have never really nailed the flavors in my own kitchen. Peter's recipes are so accessible and understandable that even the simplest kitchen cook can make these incredible dishes like a pro. Third, the ingredients she uses are easy to find. The last thing you want is a cookbook with tons of fancy one-of-a-kind ingredients you'll never be able to find, and this cookbook utilizes such accessible ingredients. I absolutely love it, and if you enjoy Mediterranean food, you will too!

Well done! I love this one! I have two other Instant Pot cookbooks (did have another, but deleted it from my Kindle because it was garbage and recipes were incomplete). This one is the best of them all. Author gives lots of information about using the Instant Pot (my current favorite appliance; saying a lot when there is a microwave oven in the room), as well as a bunch of interesting recipes. Well done! I enjoy that! Cool!

I bought this book as well as "Mediterranean Diet for Beginners: Your Essential Guide to Living the Mediterranean Lifestyle" by Adele Baker. Mr. Bragg's book had the EXACT SAME recipes with the EXACT SAME titles in the book. The only difference is Ms. Baker's book had more recipes in it. Almost like someone picked through one book and put the recipes they liked into their book. Even some of the "Tips" were exactly the same. Spend less money and buy Ms. Baker's book and get more recipes.

I've tried several recipes and they are very good. However, several recipes are missing ingredients or missing instruction steps. Also, each recipe is at least two pages - ingredients on the first and directions on the second. About half of the recipes have the ingredients on the right page and the directions on the back of that page. It's a small thing, but I found it annoying that a complete recipe wasn't laid out as a two page spread. Another annoyance - some of the directions use: "You will want to begin ...", "You will want to marinate ...", "Next you will want to..."; just give me the direction without the extra word fluff.It seems the author compiled these recipes from other sources and didn't thoroughly test them.Errors I easily found: p 52 - Apple PB Oatmeal - no water in ingredients or directions; p 60 - Mediterranean Frittata - ingredients list: 1/4 C of each, 1/4 C Spanish, 1/4 C Kalamata; p 76 - Greek Orzo Salad - olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese are referenced in the directions, but not listed in the ingredients; p 116 - Grilled Steak and Sweet Potatoes - no prep instructions given on what to do with the sweet potato - it says to grill it for 5 minutes, but a whole sweet potato would take longer than that, so I assume you slice or dice and possibly even precook; p 138 - Honey Pistachio Roasted Pears - Powdered sugar, Marscarpone and Pistachios listed in ingredients but the instructions don't tell you what to do with them; p 144 - Summer Fruit Granita - step 1 boil fruit, step 2 stir in raspberries - last time I checked, raspberries were a fruit; p 163 EVOO Cake - it doesn't give a size for the cake pan.

While having fairly good recipes, there are numerous places where wrong or incomplete items are listed. Example - Greek Orzo Salad shows rotini, not orzo in the photo. Mediterranean Frittata lists 1/4 c. Spanish - Spanish what? Exact ingredient not given. There are also several typos. Clearly needs better editing and reprint.
